Make sure to come to the March luncheon and hear Carole Love Forbes on the "History of Women". What women had gone through as far back as biblical times to the pilgrims from Plymouth and to a woman who founded Maryland. Carole will share insight on the strength of these women and what we can do to empower ourselves. Carole Love is a native Californian. She studied art in school, and did pastel portraits of friends and their pets while in the Air Force. When she returned to civilian life, she concentrated on a theatrical career. She got back into her art when asked to paint custom collector plates for a Burbank business. While in Southern California she demonstrated animals in pastels and did custom animal paintings. Carole is past president for the Antelope Valley Allied Arts Association, past president for the Alliance of California Artists, Vice president of the A. V. Art Council, Vice President for the Alliance of California Artists, member of the China Painting Teacher’s Association, and a member of the Fresno Porcelain Artists and Carole’s art has appeared in many local art shows; the Fresno Art Museum, the Big Fresno Fair, where she won many ribbons including First in Fine Arts two years in a row. Carole works in oils, pastels, and China Paints on Porcelain, but her favorite mediums are China Paint and Pastels. Carole’s portraits, both animal and people, have been lauded for their likenesses and personality. REGISTER EARLY!
