Fresno Women’s Network is excited to present its Annual Non-Profit Showcase Luncheon. Register early - this luncheon is sure to sell-out.
You will not want to miss this important and informative luncheon. We will also take the time to properly recognize and honor our non-profit members who will host a table for the luncheon. You will have an opportunity to learn more about these organizations and find out how you can become involved. This is another way that members can continue on a path to personal and professional growth through support of our community non-profit organizations. Participating will be:

Girl Scouts of Central California South: Our local Girl Scouts serve more than 12,000 girls, Kindergarten through 12th grade, in Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, and Tulare Counties! With the first central valley council chartered in 1928 in Reedley, Girl Scouts of Central California South is the premier girl organization that produces quality leaders who ensure hope for the future. The goal of GSCCS is to assist girls in developing leadership skills by helping them discover, connect and take action in their communities. In 2012 the national organization marked 100 years of inspiring young women with the ideals of courage, confidence and character all across the valley! -
Hinds Hospice: Nancy Hinds began caring for patients experiencing their end-of-life journey in her own home in 1981. The current, six-bed capacity Hospice Home opened its doors in 1987 and has served over 3,300 patients and their families while upholding dignity and easing the suffering of the terminally ill. The premier facility of its kind in the valley strives to provide the most complete and comfortable care comprised of nurses, home health aides, medical social workers, chaplains, medical directors, and an amazing amount of volunteers. Other programs in addition to patient care services within Hinds Hospice include: Center for Grief and Healing, Perinatal Hospice/ Angel Babies, Pediatric Hospice, Thrift Stores, Professional Education and Training, Multicultural Outreach, Global Outreach, Prison Hospice and a Veterans program. -
Economic Development Corporation: The Economic Development Corporation serving Fresno County is a nonprofit organization established to market Fresno County as the premier location to expand and grow core industries. They strive to not only facilitate site selection for new businesses within Fresno County, but also assist in the retention and expansion of businesses that are already located in the area. The EDC continues to be a catalyst of ideas that can be put into action through collaboration. They continue to make progress in the economic evolution of our region and is the “Essential Connection” between business and the community, committed to seeing Fresno County prosper. -
Evangel Home: Evangel Home’s mission can be explained quite simply in its mantra: “Christ Leads. People Care. Lives Change.” As a shelter for homeless women and children who often come from very difficult situations, their programs consist of teaching basic living and parenting skills, Christian counseling and work study programs as well as the encouragement of spiritual and personal growth. Since their founding in 1955, Evangel Home proudly serves approximately 500 women and children per year.
