Continuing our impressive line-up of guest speakers for 2012, please join us when we welcome Lisa Casarez, MSW at our February luncheon. Lisa Casarez, MSW, is the Founder, Executive Director and CEO of Angels of Grace, an agency that provides a place of refuge and healing for foster children. Lisa will be speaking on the important topic of self love.
Upon completion of obtaining her Master's degree in 2000, Lisa became the Executive Director and CEO/founder of Angels of Grace Foster Family Agency. She has acquired more than 10 years of successful experience in all phases of management, including program development, budgeting, and coordinator in the Human Services System. Some of her recognitions and accomplishments include:
- 2010: Business Woman of the Year by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
- 2009: Recognized by the Girl Scout Association
Recognized by the Fresno Bee for the 12 Faces of Christmas
Founded the Angels of Grace Homeless Prevention Program. - 2008: Founded the Angels of Grace Safe Haven Transitional Home
- 2005: Honored by Valley Public Television and Union Bank of California for the 5th
annual Local Hero Awards - 2004: Received an award from the Fresno Council on Child Abuse Prevention for her
efforts.
