Stress Less - Putting Yourself in Control
Jan Flanagan, LCSW & Heidi Crane, PhD
Whether it’s making an important presentation at work, running late and being
caught in traffic or struggling to balance work and family, it’s these everyday
events that can cause stress, anxiety, tension, anger or fear.
Stress can come from bigger events, too, such as a new job, divorce, or grieving the death of a loved one. In short, you can’t avoid stress. But learning how to manage it can improve your emotional well-being – and your physical health.
Join us at our March luncheon to hear Jan Flanagan, LCSW and Heidi Crane, PhD discuss “Stress Less – Putting Yourself in Control.” Ms. Flanagan and Dr. Crane work for Kaiser Permanente Fresno helping people tend to their health.
Ms. Flanagan has more than 22 years of experience in inpatient and outpatient counseling, with a focus on drug and alcohol programs, eating disorders, and women’s health. She is currently the supervisor for Behavioral Medicine and works closely with physicians to help patients address psycho-social stressors.
Dr. Crane holds a doctorate in clinical psychology and has more than 15 years of
experience in her field helping people. Her work at Kaiser Permanente as an
Organizational Development Practice Leader includes leadership, management and
team development, conflict management, service enhancement and health promotion.
Ms. Flanagan and Dr. Crane teach others how to improve communication, handle day-to-day stressors, understand the mind-body connection and manage conflict.
Join us and learn how to decrease stress and redirect behaviors in positive directions to thrive. Good health is everything.
